Paid Sick Days Rally
Millions of full-time workers don't get a single paid sick day. This harms working people, their families and our economy. NPWF wants to change that by lobbying Congress to enact a Healthy Families Act. Free Range helped NPWF create a virtual march on Washington to tell people's real stories. NPWF activists supplied moving testimonials to supplement the photos and stories uploaded by virtual attendees. Though not a single person at the rally set foot on the National Mall, the online event spread the urgent issue to thousands of Americans. The site recently won an Outstanding Achievement award from the 2008 Interactive Media Awards.
